Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seaside Village by Clifford Fishwick was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in March 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,048.61). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clifford Fishwick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dartmoor Panorama, which sold at auction in December 2014 for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,896.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seaside Village von Clifford Fishwick wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.048,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Clifford Fishwick mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dartmoor Panorama beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.896,50) versteigert wurde.
