Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled - Yellow Mandala by Clarence Holbrook Carter was sold in the Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples Online auction at Bonhams in New York in February 2020. The price achieved of USD 357.00 (€ 323.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clarence Holbrook Carter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Empress of the North in August this year with an auction result of USD 19,200.00 (€ 17,713.81).
