Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lake by Christopher Le Brun was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,685.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Le Brun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Union (Horse with Two Discs) in June this year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,635.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lake von Christopher Le Brun kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.685,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christopher Le Brun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Union (Horse with Two Discs) im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.635,00).
