In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction 20/21 Photographs/ Leaves of Light and Shadow: Photographs Gathered by William T. Hillman, which included the work Guest, 5.20 p.m., 10 September, 1995 by Christopher Bucklow. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,655.06) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christopher Bucklow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Guest, 5:57pm, 12 May 1998 in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 18,800.00 (€ 22,154.14).
