Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Rail 3 Embankment August Morning by Christopher Bramham for GBP 756.00 (€ 844.52). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Bramham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Railway Bridge Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 74,400.00 (€ 110,405.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Rail 3 Embankment August Morning von Christopher Bramham für GBP 756,00 (€ 844,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christopher Bramham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Railway Bridge Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.400,00 (€ 110.405,86).
