Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Large Still Life by Christopher Bramham was worth GBP 25,600.00 (€ 29,664.83) to a buyer in November this year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christopher Bramham - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Railway Bridge Spring, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 74,400.00 (€ 110,405.86).
