Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Large Still Life by Christopher Bramham was worth GBP 25,600.00 (€ 29,664.83) to a buyer in November this year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christopher Bramham - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Railway Bridge Spring, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 74,400.00 (€ 110,405.86).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Large Still Life von Christopher Bramham war einem Käufer im November diesen Jahres GBP 25.600,00 (€ 29.664,83) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Christopher Bramham mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Railway Bridge Spring beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 74.400,00 (€ 110.405,86) versteigert wurde.
