Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale, which included the work Alter Idem II by Christine Ay Tjoe. It changed hands for a price of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 96,502.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christine Ay Tjoe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Layer As A Hiding Place in May last year with an auction result of HKD 13,050,000.00 (€ 1,549,315.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alter Idem II von Christine Ay Tjoe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 96.502,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christine Ay Tjoe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Layer As A Hiding Place im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.050.000,00 (€ 1.549.315,07).
