Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Hidaka could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Island Culture (Green River) changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 835.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Hidaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Plateau in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,959.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Hidaka konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Island Culture (Green River) für GBP 750,00 (€ 835,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Hidaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Plateau im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.959,21).
