Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Ocean Park II by Christian Hidaka for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,448.75). This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Hidaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Plateau in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,959.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ocean Park II von Christian Hidaka für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.448,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Hidaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Plateau im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.959,21).
