The work Portrait Of Sir Andrew Fountaine (1676-1753) by Christian Friedrich Zincke was worth GBP 9,375 (€ 11,272) to a buyer in July 2010. Admittedly, works by Christian Friedrich Zincke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four important enamel miniatures set in a Fine George II Enamel and Gold Portrait Box with hinged lid and base, the concave sides chased with reeded c-scrolls and shellwork on a frosted gold ground and enamelled en basse-taille with leaves in translu in April 2002 with an auction result of GBP 56,400 (€
