Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Mother And Child by Christiaan de Moor was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christiaan de Moor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mother And Child, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 1,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Mother And Child von Christiaan de Moor im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 600,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Christiaan de Moor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mother And Child beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 1.320,00 versteigert wurde.
