Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Bomen in Toscane - Trees in Tuscany by Christiaan de Moor was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2000, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of NLG 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for NLG 1,872.32 (€ 862.96). Other works by Christiaan de Moor have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2006 by the work Mother And Child at EUR 1,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Bomen in Toscane - Trees in Tuscany von Christiaan de Moor im September 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von NLG 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für NLG 1.872,32 (€ 862,96) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Christiaan de Moor wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2006 die Arbeit Mother And Child mit EUR 1.320,00.
