A top price for Christiaan de Moor - as previously expected
In June 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Mother And Child by Christiaan de Moor. The price achieved of EUR 1,320.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mother And Child is the most expensive artwork by Christiaan de Moor that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother And Child von Christiaan de Moor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.320,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mother And Child das teuerste Kunstwerk von Christiaan de Moor, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
