Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES, which included the work Boats along a rocky coast by Christiaan de Moor. The price achieved of EUR 478.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christiaan de Moor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mother And Child, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 1,320.00.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boats along a rocky coast von Christiaan de Moor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 478,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Christiaan de Moor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mother And Child beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 1.320,00 versteigert wurde.
