Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary, which included the work "Ali & The Beatles", 1964 by Chris Smith. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 46,000.00 (€ 5,041.79), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chris Smith have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ali And The Beatles, 1964 in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,136.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Ali & The Beatles", 1964 von Chris Smith zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 46.000,00 (€ 5.041,79) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Smith auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ali And The Beatles, 1964 im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.136,87).
