Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Baltsz and Doodood by Chris Huen Sin Kan for HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,571.20). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chris Huen Sin Kan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work b. 1991 in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 228,514.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Baltsz and Doodood von Chris Huen Sin Kan für HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.571,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chris Huen Sin Kan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit b. 1991 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 228.514,76).
