Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Haze by Chris Huen Sin Kan was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 635,000.00 (€ 76,791.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Huen Sin Kan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work b. 1991, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 228,514.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Haze von Chris Huen Sin Kan kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 635.000,00 (€ 76.791,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 450.000,00 – 650.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chris Huen Sin Kan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit b. 1991 beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 228.514,76) versteigert wurde.
