Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Walking Along A Pale Green Walkway(Painted In 2015) by Chris Huen Sin Kan. The price achieved of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 101,582.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Huen Sin Kan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work b. 1991, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 228,514.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Walking Along A Pale Green Walkway(Painted In 2015) von Chris Huen Sin Kan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 101.582,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Chris Huen Sin Kan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit b. 1991 beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 228.514,76) versteigert wurde.
