A top price for Chris Huen Sin Kan - as previously expected
The work b. 1991 by Chris Huen Sin Kan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 228,514.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, b. 1991 is the most expensive artwork by Chris Huen Sin Kan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit b. 1991 von Chris Huen Sin Kan kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 228.514,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 2.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist b. 1991 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chris Huen Sin Kan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
