In May 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Forever Fist) by Chitra Ganesh. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 42,000.00 (€ 3,999.26), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chitra Ganesh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tales Of Amnesia in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,097.43).

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Forever Fist) von Chitra Ganesh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 3.999,26) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chitra Ganesh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tales Of Amnesia im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.097,43).
