The work Up From Dreams by Chitra Ganesh was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,341.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chitra Ganesh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tales Of Amnesia in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,097.43).

Die Arbeit Up From Dreams von Chitra Ganesh wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.341,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chitra Ganesh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tales Of Amnesia im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.097,43).
