The work Running Script Calligraphy On Li Kan'S Painting by Chen Yixi was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. It achieved a price of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,251.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Admittedly, works by Chen Yixi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in Three Styles in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 524,000.00 (€ 51,956.96).

Die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy On Li Kan'S Painting von Chen Yixi wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.251,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yixi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy in Three Styles im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 524.000,00 (€ 51.956,96).
