Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Poem In Running Script by Chen Yixi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,500.00 (€ 37,614.82), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chen Yixi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 524,000.00 (€ 51,956.96) in November 2012 for the work Calligraphy in Three Styles.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Running Script von Chen Yixi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 37.614,82) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Yixi haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 524.000,00 (€ 51.956,96) im November 2012 für die Arbeit Calligraphy in Three Styles beobachtet.
