Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Poems in Running Script by Chen Yixi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,676.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Yixi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in Three Styles in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 524,000.00 (€ 51,956.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four Poems in Running Script von Chen Yixi kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.676,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yixi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy in Three Styles im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 524.000,00 (€ 51.956,96).
