A top price for Chen Yixi
The work Calligraphy in Three Styles by Chen Yixi was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 524,000.00 (€ 51,956.96), 75% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Calligraphy in Three Styles the most expensive artwork by Chen Yixi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Three Styles von Chen Yixi wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 524.000,00 (€ 51.956,96) und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Calligraphy in Three Styles zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Chen Yixi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
