The work Calligraphy In Regular And Running Script by Chen Yixi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,320.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Chen Yixi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in Three Styles in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 524,000.00 (€ 51,956.96).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular And Running Script von Chen Yixi kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.320,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yixi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy in Three Styles im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 524.000,00 (€ 51.956,96).
