Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wildgrass Land: Scattered Flowers by Chen Shuzhong was auctioned at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 47,779.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Shuzhong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych), which sold at auction in June 2014 for CNY 849,600.00 (€ 100,040.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wildgrass Land: Scattered Flowers von Chen Shuzhong kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Beijing zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 47.779,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Shuzhong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für CNY 849.600,00 (€ 100.040,56) versteigert wurde.
