Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wild Grassland Series: Orange Light by Chen Shuzhong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,472.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 220,000.00 – 320,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Shuzhong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 849,600.00 (€ 100,040.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wild Grassland Series: Orange Light von Chen Shuzhong wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.472,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 220.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Shuzhong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 849.600,00 (€ 100.040,56).
