Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Far-flung Weed Beach: Sun Rising by Chen Shuzhong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,309.76). Admittedly, works by Chen Shuzhong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 849,600.00 (€ 100,040.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Far-flung Weed Beach: Sun Rising von Chen Shuzhong kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.309,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Shuzhong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 849.600,00 (€ 100.040,56).
