Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wild Grassland In Spring by Chen Shuzhong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 30,449.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Shuzhong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych), which sold at auction in June 2014 for CNY 849,600.00 (€ 100,040.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wild Grassland In Spring von Chen Shuzhong kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 30.449,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Shuzhong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für CNY 849.600,00 (€ 100.040,56) versteigert wurde.
