Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Harvest by Chen Shuzhong was sold in the CONTEMPORARY CHINESE OIL PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2000. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,400.00 (€ 8,520.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shuzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 849,600.00 (€ 100,040.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Harvest von Chen Shuzhong wurde im Oktober 2000 in der Auktion CONTEMPORARY CHINESE OIL PAINTINGS bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.400,00 (€ 8.520,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shuzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wild Grassland Series No.26 (Diptych) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 849.600,00 (€ 100.040,56).
