Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Pheasant by Chen Shuren. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,659.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shuren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Snowscape in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 152,370.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pheasant von Chen Shuren zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.659,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shuren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Snowscape im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 152.370,31).
