Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Bonhams in Sidney held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Bird among Maple Leaves by Chen Shuren. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 9,840.00 (€ 9,338.52), 23% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shuren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Snowscape in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 152,370.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Sidney die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bird among Maple Leaves von Chen Shuren zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 9.840,00 (€ 9.338,52) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shuren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Snowscape im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 152.370,31).
