Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Regular Script by Chen Sanli was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,091.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Sanli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,606.59).

Die Arbeit Poem In Regular Script von Chen Sanli wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.091,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Sanli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.606,59).
