Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Poem In Kaishu by Chen Sanli. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 2,472.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Sanli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,606.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Kaishu von Chen Sanli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 2.472,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Sanli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.606,59).
