The work Calligraphy by Chen Sanli was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 76,700.00 (€ 8,865.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chen Sanli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy In Kaishu sold at auction in October 2013 with the realized price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,606.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Chen Sanli kam im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 76.700,00 (€ 8.865,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Chen Sanli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im Oktober 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.606,59).
