Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swaying in the Breeze by Chen Jialing was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,698.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Jialing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Swaying in the Breeze von Chen Jialing wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.698,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Jialing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 46.978,32).
