Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Banana Leaf by Chen Jialing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 3,279.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Jialing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Banana Leaf von Chen Jialing kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 3.279,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Jialing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 46.978,32).
