The work Flowers and Red Leaves by Chen Jialing was sold in the Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Zhang Xinjia auction at Christies in September 2021. The auction ended at the price of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,436.38), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Jialing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).

Die Arbeit Flowers and Red Leaves von Chen Jialing wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Zhang Xinjia bei Christies versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.436,38) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Jialing erzielen.
