The work Spirit of the Lotus by Chen Jialing was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2020. It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,665.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Chen Jialing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).

Die Arbeit Spirit of the Lotus von Chen Jialing kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.665,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Jialing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 46.978,32).
