The work Lotus by Chen Jialing was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,025.15), 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chen Jialing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Chen Jialing wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.025,15) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Jialing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 46.978,32).
