Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Auspicious Pairing by Chen Jialing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,108.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Jialing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works), which sold at auction in December 2015 for CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Auspicious Pairing von Chen Jialing kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.108,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Jialing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für CNY 330.400,00 (€ 46.978,32) versteigert wurde.
