In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction, the work Two works: (i) Mutant Series - Die Blechtrommel; (ii) Killers Series - Taxi Driver sold for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 23,922.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Fei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Left Fist Has No Strength in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 7,210,000.00 (€ 762,152.70).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Fei erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction wurde die Arbeit Two works: (i) Mutant Series - Die Blechtrommel; (ii) Killers Series - Taxi Driver für HKD 226.800,00 (€ 23.922,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Fei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Left Fist Has No Strength im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.210.000,00 (€ 762.152,70).
