Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Night Owl(Executed In 2012) by Chen Fei was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in August 2020. The price achieved of HKD 8,260.00 (€ 892.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Fei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Left Fist Has No Strength in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 7,210,000.00 (€ 762,152.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Night Owl(Executed In 2012) von Chen Fei wurde im August 2020 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 8.260,00 (€ 892,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Fei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Left Fist Has No Strength im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.210.000,00 (€ 762.152,70).
