This artwork by Chen Chun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers of the Four Seasons sold for HKD 1,940,000.00 (€ 192,359.72) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,000,000.00.
