Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Peonies by Chen Chun. The price achieved of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 11,663.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers and Calligraphy in June this year with an auction result of HKD 28,810,000.00 (€ 3,366,443.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peonies von Chen Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 11.663,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers and Calligraphy im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.810.000,00 (€ 3.366.443,22).
