Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape And Poems by Chen Chun for HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 112,110.73). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 1,200,000.00 – 1,500,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers and Calligraphy in June this year with an auction result of HKD 28,810,000.00 (€ 3,366,443.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape And Poems von Chen Chun für HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 112.110,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.200.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers and Calligraphy im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.810.000,00 (€ 3.366.443,22).
