Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in Paris held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Crane by Chen Chongguang. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,944.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Chen Chongguang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2021 the work Landscape After Huang Gongwang was auctioned for USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,286.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crane von Chen Chongguang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.944,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Chongguang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2021 die Arbeit Landscape After Huang Gongwang für USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.286,34) versteigert.
