Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Love Is Frequently Feeling The Urge To Put You Out Of My Misery by Charming Baker. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,758.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charming Baker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nine works: i) All I Want Can Only Be Accomplished By Ignoring What You Need (black); ii) All I Want Is For Times To Change Until I Hit Some Good Ones (black); iii) All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (black); iv), which sold at auction in April 2019 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,164.45).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.758,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
