Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Cornish Port; And Boats Anchored In The Harbour by Charles Williams was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in January 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 525.00 (€ 703.79). Admittedly, works by Charles Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72).

Die Arbeit A Cornish Port; And Boats Anchored In The Harbour von Charles Williams wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 525,00 (€ 703,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.702,72).
